Creative Inspirations
So, I’m here waiting to find out from all of you; how do you find your inspiration? Do you reach into the dark depths of your soul to pull from? Do life’s experiences fuel your creativity? How do you get to that deep, dark place when writing a horror scene? Do you feel emotion charging from your center and pouring onto the words that fill up empty pages?
Me, you ask? Well, for one I went there today. It wasn’t till after I had finished the piece that I then realized I had tapped into emotional pain from recent happenings. It was a bit of my revenge and self therapy to bring pain and suffering to my characters. And yes, I do feel so much better now! LOL I was intrigued when thinking of how this “manifested” itself into my work. Now I am curious to see others share as well.
